Center for the
Future of News

Tomorrow's headlines, already debunked today.

This website is satire.

All news stories shared on this site are fake news, except the ones stamped "Real headline." The Center for the Future of News is a parody project. It is not a news organization, think tank, research center or government body, and it has no affiliation with any outlet or office whose headlines appear below. It is also not affiliated with Arizona State University or its Knight Center for the Future of News.

CFN Originals are satire stories written by the Center itself. They are fiction, and the people and quotes in them are made up.

The Fake News Wire is pulled automatically from right-wing conservative satire publications The Babylon Bee and Genesius Times. Those stories are made up on purpose, and each one links back to the satirist who wrote it.

Mixed in are a few real headlines from Fox News (Faux News), CNN and MSNBC (President Trump's “Fake News”) that read like satire, picked twice a day by AI. They are marked in blue as real headlines and link to the original story. Everything else on this page is satire and should not be taken as fact, endorsement or reporting.
